Now I understand your point much clearerkapoo wrote::shock: Hey all, I love this site! All out great discussions! But I just wanted to say that pertaining to the original point of the HelloGoodbye/PennyLane single being a stronger single that the StrawberryFields/Walrus record, my point was that I absolutely agree. I would rather listen to most of Paul's songs over the others. When I called Paul the hit machine, I didn't mean to cheapen his artistic abilities. It's just that the man WAS A HIT MACHINE, for a period of like 20 years!!! Everything he did was phenominal from like 1965 to close to 1985 (few rare exceptions of course)! It really has nothing to do with him being Mr. Nice Guy or anything. His songs rocked and were generally more well liked across the board than the other Beatles were. That's my only point, which I might have said wrong. Paul "the Hit machine" is a compliment! Also, Cologn Girl, I liked Starting Over a lot too. that's one of my favorite John solo songs.![]()

Right. Paul is not Just a hit maker, but he has qualties to make hit who top the billboards.dsnito wrote:Paul absolutely is not just but ALSO a "hit maker machine"... He makes hit PLUS artistic QUALITY almost ever in his career...Most of his works show his talents on making songs, rarely he brought us fake songs, 'cos he's not perfect obviously...
