Nada. They did Penny and Strawberry during the sames sessions and released them as singles and did not put them on the album. They were in the habit of not putting singles on albums back then. That's what gave us all of the extra US albums and ultimately, past Masters I and II.Lazarus_2 wrote:What were the singles for Sgt. pepper's?

I know the Beach Boys did diffferent versions of songs for albums than the singles...not sure why, but singles ruled the roost way back then--you bought 45's mostly--(early 60's)---and you played them until you puked. I'm sure others did it, too, though.HeyJude wrote:2 of 3 wrote:I'm trying to think of who else did or does that....can you think of anybody?

It was a more common thing to do in the 60s than later, wasn't it? I mean I don't know, but I guess it's possible other 60s artists also did it.

I still buy CD singles when available, and puke regularly, lol.Steve-o wrote:....singles ruled the roost way back then--you bought 45's mostly--(early 60's)---and you played them until you puked. I'm sure others did it, too, though.
