Mmmm...SPECIFCLY on Rubber Soul album, almost ALL of the songs were sang by the lead writer...the exception might be Ringo´s "What Goes On" ´cos he´s NOT the LEAD writer, that´s for sure...

The same with "In my life" that´s a fifty/fifty song. Paul wrote the tune and John the text, right? I also thought wait and The word was a very closed match between them, right?

As for "In My Life", there was ever a controversy about who had done most of that song...John ever claimed for himself almost the entire song, and Paul at his turn, told that he just helped John on several parts of that song, so...I don´t know...

It´s not because I more like Paul, but I trust more on his comment to that song. I remember John said in 1980 that he wrote The most of Eleanor rigby and he wrote two of us. We must not forget that he sometimes not was good to remember, so I trust more on Paul with that song. And if you listen to the tune, it´s typical Paul I think.

Yeah, me too...but I still think that "In My Life" is very John, but maybe Paul helped him in some parts...
