Paul married someone who wasn't a fan, and was into Bon Jovi. Hard to compare with the Beatles from a cultural impact. Thats where the issue started, Paul needed to marry his biggest fan (like Linda). There is a generational gap musically as well as age wise. I would treat her like any fellow divorcee and give her space, and let her talk about Paul if she likes. I might ask about what it was like to play in Red Square. I too would be curious about the quality of the artificial leg, and hear appearance in comparison to Linda at ther prime.

Everybody's entitled to their own opinion, of course, and I respect yours, but I think there's more things which can convert married life into hell than just violence and unfaithfulness, things which would make divorce seem the lesser evil. And I did not acquire this view just by reading "how to" manuals or the yellow press, if you know what I mean. Being put down continually by your spouse (as appears to have been the case here) can definitely convert married life into hell - unless you consider the life of a doormat (which is worse than a dog's life) worth while. It may be worth trying to overcome this problem by seeking professional advice, but if one or both are not ready to do so or if this doesn't help either, the only way out and the only way of staying sane for the one "trodden on" is ... DIVORCE.
It's the start of a journey
To a much better place
And this wasn't bad
So a much better place
Would have to be special...

Me to Heather: "Oh it's you, I'll change my seat, I don't want a law suit slapped against me when we land."
"Step on the gas and wipe that tear away,
One sweet dream came true today!"
