This is in next weeks issue of Entertainment Weekly. The author must not know much about Macca and probably has never taken the opportunity to see him live. His loss.

From the Nov 29, 2002 Issue:
The cute coot still works hard: This double-disc memento finds McCartney-plus-four-piece putting as much vigor into drivel like "C Moon" as the sounds-great-in-a-stadium "Jet". A rockabilly "I Saw Her Standing There"? To paraphrase: WOOOOOOOOOO! But the acoustic interlude is excruciating ("Carry That Weight" as a torch ballad). And trying to reproduce a studio-bound "Eleanor Rigby" is, like much recent Macca music, misguided. B- by Ken Tucker.

Well, I don't know if I can RESPECTFULLY disagree. The guy is ignorant about Macca. Like you said, his loss.
