Who's Delbert McClinton? What a great name [:D]!
A name like that can only come from Texas! He's from Lubbuck, Texas. (Same town Buddy Holly was from)
He's kind of a blues/country/soul singer. He played harmonica on a lot of records around 1960. (Most nobably a song called "Hey Baby" by Bruce Channel) He was on tour in England back in the early '60s, and that's when he gave Lennon harmonica lessons.
He had a solo hit in the U.S. back in the early '80s called "Giving It Up For Your Love." He still plays a lot of bars and stuff.
