Oh yeah, man! To see a film that hadn't been seen in so many years, man I think my old man cried. It was a great experience for me too. To see my parents "in motion" back in the 60s. It's definitely a trip. It's awesome to have such priceless material like that, man. I wouldn't give that tape away for a million bucks. Actually, my mother would probably slap me upside the head if I didn't take the million bucks. LOL

LOL..I know what you mean. I have like every Christmas, birthday, games, school plays ect ect since 1982, and I swear I'd risk my life getting those things outta the house if it ever was in flames. I'm also amazed at how clear and perfect the VHS tapes from 1982 still are.

In all seriousness....Liam if you have cd burning capabilities on your computer, you should just make your own "Let it Be McCartney" album. Create a tracklist combining your faves from LIB and Macca I. That way you could "create" your fantasy album that never was.

I have done something like that a while back - with the high points of LIB, Mac1 and Ram. The tracklisting is floating around here somewhere - I'll have to reconstruct the album again . . .

I will add, actually, that this is not done onto CDs, but rather all the songs on my hard drive that I have copied onto there off CDs, I can make unlimited albums with all my fave tunes on!

Well, by the way about John bass playing, he did it very bad on "The Long and Winding Road", and it seems that he did it deliberately because he was bored of any Beatles stuffs that time.
Peace.
I've read about this too Dsnito. In fact, one of the main things that stand out about the clips for both LIB and TLAWR is the fact that John really does look acutely bored and fed up. I can almost feel his boredom. This isn't body language - more body screaming!

It's a pity, that. It wouldn't surprise me either if he was a little jealous, as Paul's contributions to that album were among the finest of Beatles songs ever!

Soon after the breakup, John ever took lightly and even attacked any Paul´s work anytime he could. But in the mid-70s he even did praise Macca´s songs like when he said that "BOTR" was a great album, and furthermore on Playboy´s interview in 1980, he did the same about "McCartney II" saying something like this: "when I listen to songs like "Coming Up", I think: there he is, ol´ Paul... Good to hear him, good tune!!"

Peace.

Then it seems that John wasn´t a SO Mr.Bad Guy, and he cleaned up himself behavior related with his old mate Paul. But of course that also was clear that the things wasn´t the same like their old times, and both couldn´t be as so closer friends anymore, I think even if John was alive until nowadays.

Peace.
