Postby TJP » Thu Aug 26, 2010 12:26 am

Rolling Stone's number one Beatles song is "A Day in the Life."

The choice is made in a collector's edition of the magazine titled "The Beatles: 100 Greatest Songs."

It's an interesting article to read, though it is odd that a mediocrity like Dig a Pony made the list, but Fixing a Hole (to name one) didn't.

Oh come on! I want to hold your hand in second place??? Yes, that's the songs that brought them fame in US but if you're reffering to complexity there are many songs better like She said, she said, I'm only sleeping, You've got to hide your love away, I am the walrus, Dear Prudence, Norwegian wood, Hapiness is a warm gun, Because, Across the universe...etc

For me, the greates song ever, not only Beatles, is HEY JUDE.
We can make it to Mexico City...AGAIN!!!!!

I like lots of Beatles songs but he only one I really love is Linda Eastman' s "Two of us"; it sends shivers of douceur down my spine just thinking of it.

If the Beatles make finish the song "Because I love you so" and moulding it a litle bit, it could be a great song.

Yesterday, Hey Jude, and Let It Be would all be fab choices for the best Beatles song ever!! I would have all 3 listed before A Day in the Life.
