Congratulations, Ringo ! You're sixty-five today !!!!

You're all purity unfurled
all over this world
eyes that sparkle and shine....
you're sixty-five, you're so beautiful
and you're so fine !!

(sing to the tune "You're Sixteen")
Billy Preston, i think his name is...does keyboard. Chrissie Hynde guest vocal. Robert Randolf?on some intrument i forget what... but that's it...

Choose Love is a good album, but i like Vertical Man better, possibly even Time Takes Time better, but that's a 50-50. Um , might get RingoRama before the year is out , and also pick-up Chaos And Creation In the Backyard when it's released.

I adore Time Takes Time (I think it's his best sine the 70's),
I like Ringorama a lot.
I should purchase either Vertical Man or Choose Love before the year is over, and of course C&CITBY :D

ON Time Takes time you can really feel the emotion in ringo's voice. Like some bitter-sweet-sadness. It comes through on some of the tracks. When i mean sadness i mean, a joyus kind of sadness.

I know what you mean, Lazarus.

You know, it's like, Ringo's singing voice, his timbre, may convey
a bit of sadness but his voice (and our knowing who he is) will never let
us down when we're listening to him.
And I think we always associate him with his major role on the planet - the friendly conciliator master.
