Ringo's new album

Postby maccastheman » Mon Nov 04, 2002 4:29 pm

Has anybody heard much about Ringo's new studio album that's due next year? Is Macca guesting on any of the songs? I hope so. I love him singing background on Ringo's stuff. He and Linda sounded great on "Ringo."

Well..I kind of doubt if there's any involvement from Paul. His last contribution to Richie was in 1982 on Private Property, off that dreadful "Stop and SMell The Roses" album. That was 20 years ago. "Ringo" was nearly 30 years ago. I think their musical relationship runs only one way these days.

I thought Paul was on "Verticle Man" as well. I could be wrong.

MTM...you may be right. I have not kept up with Ringo very much, to be quite honest.

Paul was on Vertical Man, as was George H. But never together...[:(] Paul played some bass and did background vocals. George played his slide guitar solos.

Brains--thanks for the info. Did Paul write any of the songs like he did on the older albums I mentioned?
