I do buy some Ringo CDs, but not every one of them. I have to hear it first...the music must be compelling to me in some way. Ringo tends to make albums that depend greatly upon his backing cast...His "Ringo" album, though not without flaws, is a very charming collection...did I say charming? That's really the best word I can think of as I listen...fine contributions from everybody. While he didn't drop off the face of the earth after "Ringo", each album seemed to be less...charming. I have most of them on vinyl, but rarely play them. But around the time of "Time Takes Time", at least for me, he seemed to rediscover his legs and since then, especially since hooking up with Mark Hudson, he has made some very solid records. I do break out TTT from time to time...it's a fun and 'Beatley' CD. I have never seem Ringo live, but it sounds as though I should. It sounds like a splendid time!
