What about Ringo?

Postby Rene » Mon Jan 22, 2007 10:47 pm

Ok...help me out....

On a scale from 1-5, I know...

3.75 about Paul
3 about John
2.5 about George
and about a .75 about Ringo.

If you could give me one or two things that in your opinion are a need to know about him, personal (not gossip) or professional, what would it be?

Well...I read that his daughter had a brain tumor operation. As far as I know it ended successfully. Nothing else comes to my mind at the moment.

Hmmm. He married actress Barbara Bach after they worked together on a movie in the early 80s -- I believe the movie was Caveman. She was also in Give My Regards To Broad Street with Paul and Ringo. They're still together to this day.

I would like to know who Ringo's favorite drummer was in the 1960's and also if there was a drummer that he looked up to growing up.

Also, has anyone ever noticed how large Ringo's hands are compared to the rest of him ?...They seem very disproportionant since he's so small in stature...I know...large in heart and soul though. I REALLY like Ringo !

My wife and I saw him in Gulfport, Mississippi, the year before Hurricane Katrina and we missed seeing him up close in person by less than five minutes...Our bellman at the hotel said he had just gone up the elevator...Yes, I tried to bribe him but he said he'd lose his job if he even told me what floor he was on...I told him "I didn't care".

It was that last stop light that got me...

The only thing about wikipedia is that it isn't a real encyclopedia. Anyone can contribute and it doesn't have to be verified.
