I just read that at AMG. Apparentely they were both written for the Stop and Smell the Roses album. "Nobody Told Me" always struck me as an odd song for John Lennon. I couldn't really picture him writing "I'm the Greatest" or "Goodnight Vienna" for himself, either. It would be really cool to hear Ringo sing this song. It sounds perfect for him in IMHO. I guess after the murder they just kept the demo in the vaults for Milk and Honey.
Also, I didn't know that "All Those Years Ago" started out as a song for the same album. Apparentely George started the song as a demo for Ringo, then changed the lyrics after Lennon's murder and kept it for himself.
