I love Paul, but I think Driving Rain is one of his three worst albums. So I agree with Laz on his one comment about the two albums! I hope he never makes another 'band' album. All he needs are backup musicians, and he does not always need that!

DR's not really a band album in the same way that, say Off The Ground is. He played drums and guitar on a lot of the stuff.

Difference really is he wasn't being pressed to come up with good material on DR...

Fortunetely he was pressed with CACITB, and so we are blessed.

Laz, good buddy. Don't you ever leave this place. As I've said before, I may not agree with everything you have to say here, But I will defend your right to say it. Keep posting whatever you have to say.
I want to tell her that I love her a lot, but I got to get a belly full of wine.

I'm also glad that you call things as you see it, you have no fear of offering up a different opinion. I'm in partial agreement too with Laz, in that OTG, FP, DR are not up to the same level as Chaos, let alone up to Beatle standard. As for Ringo, well it's great to see a Ringo supporter on here. Wouldn't it be boring if we all had the same opinions!
I needed comfort of love just to get me some piece of mind.. wo-oh
