Not a fan of Love Me Do in general. It's boring.

SO, i purchases Vertical Man a while ago and, apparently there's a Japanese Limited Edition Import that's completely overpriced and will cost me like 100+ dollars.

I've edited my first post to better reflect my feelings about the record.
It's a Great Record. The Perfect Ringo Recording.

It is a Great Recording, no doubts there. One of the greatest records of all time. No doubt in my mind. It's got 10/10 the highest rating possible from me(almost), some records may be worthy of an 11/10 or more, extra #'s/10 reflect something indescribable indowed to the music. or not.
still, i believe firmly in Vertical Man.

Like Steve says, sure some of us were handing out the 10's rather liberally when rating these Macca songs, but I'll also call a turkey if I see it as a turkey. The OTG and DR and FP threads for example. But I did give DR another chance. OTG is a mixed affair, and FP still has some lacklustre moments.Reminds me, FP could be next on my 'poll hitlist' (look out, hehehe).
I needed comfort of love just to get me some piece of mind.. wo-oh

I will say that this is by far my favorite Ringo album. I wouldn't give them all a 10, but there's some excellent songs on this record. But then again, with all the help he had on this album, it better had been great!!

I think I need to get this album.I've heard a couple of the songs and have loved them. Not much of a fan of his version of Love me do but thats probably more likely to grow on me

Just out of interest I know Paul and George helped out on the album but in what way, what songs that kind of thing, thanks
