He doesn't get credit for any of it because he wrote virtually none of it and he can't sing very well.

Nah! I just prefer them.
I know Ringo made them with a little help from his friends but they're better albums at the end of the day!
Mind you Ringo had to be exceptional and Macca had to have slipped a couple of gears for this anomaly to have happened but IMO they're still better overall!!!

I've thought for quite a while that this was true, but it is nice finally to see someone else say it!

It would be interesting to hear this song. I was disgusted that Ringo chose to put a Diane Warren song on the album ("In a Heartbeat") while rejecting the Macca collaboration. Diane Warren must have the most out-of-whack success-to-quality ratio of any songwriter in the last fifty years. That is to say, she has had stunning success with some horrific songs.
