How 'bout "Have You Seen My Baby"?
Funny lyrics, and guitar work by the late Marc Bolan from T. Rex !

Early 1970. Just makes me laugh. Especially the "Got no cows but he sure got a whole lot of sheep" line.
And in the end...

Yeah man, Early '70, great song! Funny and clever lyrics soon after Beatles break up! Was only Ringo that wrote the lyrics? Or maybe had he some "little help"?

I don't think he had any help, but I could be wrong. He and George worked a lot together early on, but it just sounds like something Ringo came up with on his own.

Back Off Boogaloo (Ringo said in VH1's story tellers that he was Boogaloo - his life at that point was a sucession of drunken debaucheries and fence jumping / meaning fooling around w/ the opposite sex) so he decided it was high time to go back on the horse saddle again - musically speaking 8)

I just got "Picture Show Life" from "Old Wave" (1983) playing inside my head - a good collaboration between Ringo and Joe Walsh.

One of my fave tracks from the 90's Ringo: Don't Go Where the Road Don't Go.

Weight of the World - "Maybe I haven't always been there just for you - Maybe I've tried but then I've got my own life too." I've always loved that line. Puts things in perspective.
And in the end...
