Yes Ram, I agree about the high note at the end of the song, I ever wondered that Ringo could do it.
Peace.
Ringo stated that it took a lot of coaching from Paul to make him sing it.

WAD, Maezie, I saw that too. Buck was a huge Beatlefreak and was quite honored that they cut one of his songs. Ringo's vocal and Paul's back-up are top drawer, but George steals the show. The guitar sound is solid cluck--to me it's a George song!!Maestri09 wrote:no one's ever mentioned "act naturally". I think that's another Beatles "departure" from their album Help! (although to some other tangent).
I once saw a music video of "Act naturally" with Ringo and some country artist (I think Buck Owens--I don't know my country music). One of the most entertaining videos I ever saw!

It's OK for me. Probably noteworthy is the fact that ringo played piano and drums on the song....macca played bass and piano, and Jack Fallon played violin. I liked the intro and outro, too. The Book "Revolution: The Making of the White Album" mentions his distinctly drummer-like piano playing.kylestyle wrote:'Don't Pass Me By', the first Starkey song to make it on a Beatles album. Well, it would be sacreligious of me to not like any Beatles song, lol.kylestyle wrote: I'm surprised no-one's mentioned 'Don't Pass Me By', the first Starkey song to make it on a Beatles album. What do you think of that song?
