Maharishi & Paul

Does anyone know the status pof Paul's realtionship with the Maharishi before he passed away this week? i recall reading where he did still, from time to time, consult with him or something. not sure. Also, which Paul songs were inspired by meditation? I have no idea. This post might be lame, but I thought I'd throw it out there... Thanks.
