Greatest Hits 1970-2001

Postby DeRick » Mon Aug 13, 2007 9:04 pm

This was, to me, the hardest. Since Dylan & Petty had no Wilbury stuff on thier "Greatest Hits" then..besides i believe Traveling Wilburys should be unto itself.
Anyhoot here goes:
Disc 1
MY SWEET LORD
WAH-WAH
WHAT IS LIFE?
BEWARE OF DARKNESS
ART OF DYING
ALL THINGS MUST PASS
BANGLA DESH
GIVE ME LOVE (GIVE ME PEACE ON EARTH)
SUE ME, SUE YOU BLUES
DON'T LET ME WAIT TOO LONG
LIVING IN A MATERIAL WORLD
HARI'S ON TOUR
DARK HORSE
SO SAD
YOU
THIS GUITAR (CAN'T KEEP FROM CRYING)
THE ANSWER'S AT THE END
THIS SONG
CRACKERBOX PALACE
LEARNING HOW TO LOVE YOU
Disc 2
BLOW AWAY
FASTER
HERE COMES THE MOON
BLOOD FROM A CLONE
LIFE ITSELF
ALL THOSE YEARS AGO
LAY HIS HEAD
WAKE UP MY LOVE
THAT'S THE WAY IT GOES
DREAM AWAY
CLOUD 9
THIS IS LOVE
WHEN WE WAS FAB
DEVIL'S RADIO
GOT MY MIND SET ON YOU
CHEER DOWN
ANY ROAD
MARWA BLUES
STUCK INSIDE A CLOUD
BRAINWASHED

Yet another fine "Best Of"...about the only addition I might make would be "It's What You Value". :)
If love is blind, how will it ever find a way?

How about Hari's on tour, instead of Dark Horse?

Because DH was the hit single & was also on the best of. I like that song, even though it does sound more like "Dark HOERSE", get it?

We had a topic on this about a year ago. Here's what I came up with then:

1. What Is Life
2. My Sweet Lord
3. Awaiting On You All
4. Isn't It A Pity
5. Wah-Wah
6. All Things Must Pass
7. Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)
8. Don't Let Me Wait Too Long
9. Bangla Desh
10. Dark Horse
11. Ding Dong
12. You
13. This Guitar (Can't Keep From Crying)
14. This Song
15. True Love
16. It's What You Value
17. Crackerbox Palace
18. Blow Away

1. Faster
2. Love Comes To Everyone
3. Life Itself
4. All Those Years Ago
5. Teardrops
6. Wake Up My Love
7. I Really Love You
8. That's The Way It Goes
9. I Don't Want To Do It
10. Got My Mind Set On You
11. Cloud Nine
12. This Is Love
13. When We Was Fab
14. Devil's Radio
15. Cheer Down
16. Horse To The Water
17. Any Road
18. Stuck Inside A Cloud

Rick that list sounds like perfection to me except I would include "Hari's on Tour" and maybe drop "Life Itself".
In fact I'm going to burn this right now for the car... now where's that eject button? :salute
Man I could smell your breath a mile away.

Im not getting rid of those great songs, i always though "Ding Dong" was lyricly weak, so i chose to drop that. "Dark Horse" & "Life Itself" are great songs and need to be included.
