All Things Must Pass

Postby Liam OSM » Mon Sep 23, 2002 8:13 am

I'm surprised there isn't a thread already started on this most famous of George's albums.

My fave from this is the title track. Most of the rest, I like, although there's one or two howlers . . . notably I Dig Love. Cheesy isn't the word!

I'd Have You Anytime, Isn't It A Pity, What Is Life and Apple Scruffs are my favourite tracks from my favourite of George's albums. Definitely one of the best Beatles solo albums.

I've never listened to it much. I liked "It's Johnny's Birthday" though, it's a funny song. Don't really know the rest. Should I?

Well I think that if you listen to it once, you'll be(as me too)a long time without listening to. It's not a kind of music that you'd wish to hear continuously. It's MY opinion, maybe must have people that love it.

Peace.

Some of those instrumental jams are really fun - I am particularly fond of the rock & roller, I think it's "Thanks For The Pepperoni" - but some of them go on a bit . . .

There are great George´s guitar riffs but I think that´s too longer tracks and an once audition is enough to me. Listened to it last weekend and I think I won´t do it until next year. LOL[:D]

Peace.

Well, some of them do go on a little long, I'll admit - but some are all right.
