A great quote from George

Postby BeatleBabe » Wed Nov 09, 2005 4:10 pm

I just got a great card in the mail from my sister who's in England with a fantastic comment from George. It reads...

"The Beatles saved the world from boredom"

I thought it was great. I've never heard that one before. Just thought I would share!
What are you doing on the floor?
I'm tired

lol that's great! :)
"Wings IV introduced Jimmy McCulloch, a spunky lead guitarist with grit, able to spur Paul on unlike any previous soloist. His debut track, the magnificent single `Junior's Farm', stands as one of Wings' finest emotional and technical releases."

The Beatles somehow reached more people, more nationalities more parts
that other bands couldn´t reach. If you listen to the music that´s going on now, all the good stuff is stolen from the Beatles.
Now junior behave yourself

Try to realize it's all within yourself no one else can make you change, and to see you're only very small and life flows on within you and without you.

When you've seen beyoind yourself, then you may find, peace of mind waiting there.

As we celebrate George's birthday, a quote from All Too Much:

"All the world is birthday cake
So take a piece, but not too much"
"Step on the gas and wipe that tear away,
One sweet dream came true today!"

Here in Europe it's 25 February already and I remember George :)

One quote of his that I love is off the "Live in Japan" album, where after singing "Devil's Radio" he says "devil's radio - don't be a broadcaster". I wish more people would follow his advice.
It's the start of a journey
To a much better place
And this wasn't bad
So a much better place
Would have to be special...
