Any scoop on a George Anthology ?

Postby Berkeleyan » Thu Jul 07, 2005 7:29 am

Any news, any inside scoop, anyone ?
Any news from the Harrison Camp ?
After George's passing there was some comment by Dhani and Olivia regarding it, afterwards nothing else was said.

If they do, I'm hoping it includes "Cheer Down" from the "Lethal Weapon 2" soundtrack, because I love that song. It's one of my favorite songs that George did.

Great pick ! One of George's best solo efforts !
It's a shame it got relegated to only being a track in a soundtrack album and a track on Geoge's "Live in Japan". It deserved a place in "Cloud nine", and the "suits"in the business should've promote it !!

Well it was also on the "Best of Dark Horse 1976-1989" compilation.

Yeah but my point is that "Cheer Down" shoud've been an album track
("Cloud Nine"), so good it is. Unless Geoge composed it after CN was out.
