Well, I thought it was a bit of fun, but George would probably agree with you. Rollingstone interviewed George around the time of CLOUD NINE, and I believe I recall him mentioning having to do these videos were a pain in the ass, lol.

That´s the point Chris, he was just parodying about himself, as he said he would NEVER dance as in that video. That was George sense of humor, can´t you see??

There are two video clips for "I Got My Mind Set on You".
The one w/ a stunt double and the moving things is just silly but
the other version is really good - it's George and his pals playing
but most of the video revolves around a very pretty crumpet :D
and a boy at a game arcade kind of place.

Here is a screencap from the video. I think it's him, fabby thing for sure! And Keith Richards as one of the saxophone players... :D Nito's right!

Yeah, that's Eric Idle as the blood-sucking "vamp" !
And you're saying Mr. "Stoned" Richards is in it too !?
Gotta check it out sometime soon !

I've just seen this post right now after all this time...that wasn't me that said Keith Richards was on that clip...I ever thought the lead sax player was Tom"Cat"Scott and couldn't recognize the other horn players...as for the guys in drag, there are one, the "girl"with a hat that really looks like Ron Wood.

Berk, I just could check George's videos better 'cos recently I've got the DVD "The Dark Horse Years", the images are too much better than the videos I've taped from TV, many years ago...
Another one curiosity now about "Crackerbox Palace" is that the cute brunette girl in black corset beside George's bed(there's another blonde girl in the other side) is no one less than a young Olivia Arias in a brief appearence. Saw this in a website I can't remember, but she quite looks like her. Go check that out Sr.Berk!!!

"Crackerbox Palace" has always been my favourite video - I love Neil Innes in about 3 different roles. I love Olivia on her one very brief scene! And I love the shots of everyone at Friar Park - they just seemed to be having a ball!!

Crackerbox Palace, This Song and True Love are very funny.
When We Was Fab is a classic.
This Is Love is great. George was looking still young and happy.
All the Wilburys videos are very good too, especially Wilbury Twist.
Horse To The Water and Any Road are fitting tributes.
