Another Remixed album- Mind Games?

CDs of analog recordings as released in the 80's and early 90's more often than not SOUND AWFUL compared to the newest remastered versions of classic old albums. Compare the first CD releases of The Who with the newest versions. The technology for transferring analog recordings to digital CD has come a long way. I welcome any re-release if it improves the sound quality. The recently remastered YES cds on Rhino/Elektra are wonderful. I bought all 8 gladly, even though I already had the old versions. Well worth it!

I happen to like at least half of the MIND GAMES album a lot.

The singing is great on Mind Games. I think the album should have sounded like Meat City, that roughhouse production would have been a revelation in 1973. Also the acoustic version of Aisumasen is great, I think the song had more potential than the finished version.

Meat City is a very hard to top ROCKER...assuming it´s possible to top that. In my book it´s in the top five of John´s solo stuff. [:)]

Just wanted to add one more post [:)] - I feel lonely today...
Some people when lonely/depressed tend to hog on something like food, for instance.

I like this album a lot! And why shouldnt Yoko remaster the albums?? the early cd versions sounds very dull compared to the new remastered albums.

i can´t wait until W&B, STINYC an RnR comes out, anyone heard of dates?

I'll skip STINYC, thank-you very much. Twice as bad as the below average tired-sounding Mind Games. Pure clap-trap.

I like all of John's solos works. Mind Games is abit soft but some nice songs all round. I really like SINYC. It was the most honest John and Yoko collaboration. I think people dismiss it because it wasn't successful. My favourite song on it is the Luck of the Irish.
