New York Dec 8th anyone?

Postby arrowthroughme » Thu Nov 29, 2007 3:00 pm

Im going to be catching a train up to NYC this next saturday the 8th to spend some time in Central park with the crowd thats always there late afternoon into the night...

singing along with just-met-friends.. playing guitars...

Ive been there twice before, once in 2001 by chance (we were on a college trip to the city for some shopping :) and it hit me what day it was - made everyone in my group take the subway over to strawberry fields where i saw the people... lots of people...)
and then last year, i just had to go back... be there...

this year im gonna try my best to be there.. a few hours at least - just to.. BE. there.
i was just wondering if any of you are also planning to be there ?
Complete with my own personal wings tribute permanently on my foot : )

You don't have to be there to be there.

I'm always there every Oct 9 and Dec 8 weather I'm there in body or in mind
as I am for George which Is today.

I can't get to NYC anytime soon. I live about 400 miles from the Dakota or Central Park.
I was there many a time back when I lived in the City. It is a great experience with the Hundreds or Thousands of good people you will come across. All singing, crying and remembering. I would recommend you take a lot of pictures while you are there and later on in years remember the people that crossed your path on this sad day. Have a safe trip and tell us about what happened while you were there.
Every morning brings a new day
