John's near Christian conversion

I would like to think the Beatles were/are Christians, but I don't think so..when my wife and I got married we picked our wedding song as "Grow Old With Me"..the pastor and music director weren't to big on it..they finally gave in but we played Mary Chapin Carpenter's version..but I did get away wit John Lennon bow ties and cumberbands for the tuxes..they were pretty cool..they were black with his famous "self portrait" scribble on them..as a Christian I listen to Christian music but still love my Beatles..

Then there was the time when John called a formal meeting of Apple to announce that he was Jesus Christ.
A little tooo much glue-sniffing on both occasions methinks.
