Were the covers of Milk and Honey and Double Fantasy taken on the same day? Both look very similar to me although the posing was different.

They quite probably were - I think the photos on the covers date back to the Imagine era . . .

NO...the DF cover was taken sometime in Nov 1980, before John got his 50's haircut (right before his murder) that appeared in Rolling STone. I'm sure the M & H photo was taken the same time. His hair looked quite Beatley!!
