I know most of you probably did what I did...take the John tracks from "Double Fantasy" and "Milk & Honey" and compile them on one disc. It certainly gives one a better appreciation for where JL was in '80 in terms of his music.

Yes, but John's songs on Milk and Honey are very weak and incomplete, compared with the ones from Fantasy.

True enough, but even weak JL songs are better than Yoko songs, at least to my ears.

Gotta' dis-agree here - Milk and Honey songs by John are great, it's been called Double Fantasy - Naked - and the point is that it's crackling, sparkling and John at a high-level of performance- singing live over the recorded musical takes.

Slap on his performance of "I Am the Greatest" - penned for Ringo, earlier, to the disc and you have - just short of Macca's BOTR - the highest caliber post-Beatles work.
