John, thanks for the great songs, your great wit and all the happy memories. You'll never be forgotten. Keep on rockin' wherever you are.

25 years ago I was a very sad little 9 year old boy. Part of me kind of understood the magnitude of loss involved. The rest of me was reacting to the somber atmosphere of which seemed to engulf the entire plant.
RIP John.

It was 25 years ago and today the world remembers John Lennon. In celebration to his life, MACCAradio will be playing the music of John, all day & night.

With respect I ask all of you to request ONLY John solo songs and signature Beatle songs.

I was 25 years old, and John's death was the first time the death of a celebrity really affected me -- well, actually, made me sob hysterically. It actually really felt like the whole world collectively burst into tears.

Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans... oh christ.

I sure think that -- particularly given the current leaders in power in the U.S. and other parts of the world -- the planet would be a healthier place if John was still with us. Hail and farewell.

I couldn't have said it any better...
It's the start of a journey
To a much better place
And this wasn't bad
So a much better place
Would have to be special...
