PICK JOHN'S MOST PASSIONATE BEATLE/SOLO VOCAL PERFORMANCE !

Postby Paperback Writer » Sat Dec 03, 2005 8:14 pm

Whether it was a rocker, ballad, folk-narrative, psychedelic romp,

journal-song, love-song, social- diatraub or 50's groover, John always

sang with passion. Which songs do you feel best exemplify this? Beatle

or Solo, pick 'em!

I'll start with these three:

1. Happiness Is A Warm Gun

2.Twist and Shout!

3.Gimme Some Truth

passionate..? emotional..?? you just don't get any more than that than almost ALL of P.O.B....esp... 'Mother'...or 'working class hero'...'isolation'...'love'...'god'...that coda : 'my mummy's dead'...totally gripping stuff ! may very well be the best solo album by any of the four lads...
