Is Madonna the Female Lennon?

Madonna is currently on tour and she sings "Imagine" during the concert with a big picture of John on the stage behind her. Madonna is good friends with Heather and Paul so I wonder what they thought when they found out she is including it in the concert.

What do you expect them to think? I suppose if she does a good job of it, they will like it - if she doesn't, they won't...
