Instant Karma! It's always been my favorite solo song by John. It inspires me more and more the older I get. "You better get yourself together - pretty soon you're gonna be dead" is, of course, the line that resonates with me.

I was in a horrible car accident a little over a year ago. I flipped my car 4 times. It landed up-right. As soon as it stopped flipping I got out of my car and walked away. It was engulfed in flames just seconds after I got out of it.

I know almost everybody will face one of those close encounters with death at least once in their lives.(Before the actual end arrives) It creeps me out just thinking about it. Since then I've lived life with much more vigor and adventure. It might slow some people down, but it made me want to take advantage of every opportunity that came my way.
