great new album from John Fogerty

If anyone is into "classic"old school rock Fogertys new album Revival should be a blessing. Filled with great guitar riffs and solos, steady rhytms and infectious melodies. Not to mention the unmistakable voice of mr Fogerty. Some of the lyrics are astounding unless you are a devoted admirer of president Bush or Britney Spears. The man even shows some humour when he sings "You can t go wrong with a creedence song". Enjoy

First listening, I thought it was crap.

Revival is an album that takes a few hearings to "get". Overall the rewiew in USA have been good to great - in my homecountry some good, some not so good. With that said it obviously is an album that divides the lsiteners. Personally I think it s an overall great album where most song have a little something if one care to listen. A favourite is the gospelsoul "River is waiting". Great melody and riff and some abolutely gorgeous organfills from Benmont Tench
