I grew up with the US versions. I don't know if I would have liked having more songs on an album or an extra album a few months after the current one. Being I am used to the US versions so I am partial to them.
I looked at the difference in the two versions of Revolver and i never ever realized how drastic the two are. The Brit version is a Beatle album but the US version is a Macca Album. More reminiscent of "WATSOS" A Paul album but with a few songs sung by other members of the band.
John only has 2 She said , she said and Tomorrow never knows. George has 3 and Ringo 1. The Brit version has the three john tunes that were cut out, Dr. Robert, I'm Only Sleeping and And your bird can sing. I think that the omission of the three john songs made it a totally Macca sounding album. And being I grew up in the good ole USA i still like the US versions of the early stuff.
