quote:Just curious, what exactly do you mean, Megs? Are you saying that you are growing more intersted in him, or that his music is getting better? i mean the music, like i have the "born in the usa" album its alright but i think his stuff off of his new album "the rising" is much better than stuff off of "born in the usa"[8D]

Oh ok. I gotcha. From the new stuff I've heard, it sounds pretty dry and boring. It may have a good meaning and good lyrics, but the newer Springsteen music just doesn't do it for me. Doesn't have the same punch as his earlier work.

Bon Jovi was probably my favorite modern band between about '86 and '88, (When 'Slippery When Wet' was HUGE.) But I've lost interest since then. I mean, they're alright I guess. I have no urge to buy an album though.

Bon Jovi is still great. I've seen there show twice (in '96 and 2001) they play for over 3 hours and they rock. I think there best albums are These Days and Crush. I've bought there new cd Bounce and that one is pretty good too. There best songs are in my opinion I'll sleep when I'm dead (keep the faith), It's My Life (Crush), Living on a prayer and Wanted, Dead or Alive.

I'll tell u what ram, I always thought of bon jovi as ok, but I seen them in '01 and they blew me away. Probably the best sounding arena show I had seen until paul. They had always got written off as a hair band but they are very talented. Not to mention they have staying power (so far). Though I have always been a bit of a sucker for some of the eighties hard rock. Reminds me of good times I guess.[;)]

I'm not at all up on Bon Jovi - I don't know their stuff so I can take them or leave them.

Really? You have probably heard a lot of their songs and didn't realize who it was. Haven't you ever see "young guns"?
