Good topic, Ram!! These are my faves for this moment:
- Led Zeppelin IV(of Stairway To Heaven, an early 70s hymn) - Led Zeppelin
- LZ II (of Whole Lotta Love, superb!) - Zep´s yet
- The Dark Side Of The Moon - Agree with Ram, a 70s masterpiece.
- Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John(his growing inspiration´s album)
- LZ I - Zep again, the debút album
- Eletric Ladyland - Jimi Hendrix(guitar distortion effect
hypnotizes!)
- Houses Of The Holy - a style mix of Zep(as Physical Graffitti)
- Atom Heart Mother - Pink Floyd
- Yessongs - Yes(I like this as a Progressive Rock summary)
- Pet Sounds - Beach Boys(inspired Paul and The Beatles to do "Sgt.Pepper" though poor Wilson came to be depressive after that)
As the fellows, I may change those, and as Steve said we could list 50 or even 100 to rank the favourites!!!
Peace.
